Lee Roy Berryman

Private memorial services will be held for Mr. Lee Roy Berryman, 
73, of Tyler. Services are under the direction of Burks Walker 
Tippit Funeral Directors. Mr. Berryman died March 12, 2007, in 
Tyler. He was born June 3, 1933, in Tyler to the late Hoyt 
Berryman Sr. and Josephine Howell Berryman. Mr. Berryman was a 
graduate of Chapel Hill High School and Tyler Junior College 
and was retired from Kelly-Springfield after 30 years. He was 
a member of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Sharon Temple 
Shrine and St. John’s Lodge. He was a member of the U.S. Army 
from 1953 to 1956. 

Survivors are his wife, Jackie Smith Berryman of Tyler, daughter, 
Lee Anne Whitton and husband Steve of Troup; son, Brent Alan 
Berryman and wife Lynn of Lindale; grandchildren, Bryan Hunt, 
Brynne Berryman and Christopher Whitton; sisters, Jo Renson of 
Tyler, and Sandy Allen of Dallas; brothers, Hoyt Berryman Jr. 
of Tyler, and Billy Berryman of Pearland.

I lieu of flowers, memorials may be made of the Shriners Hospitals 
for Children, 3100 Samford Avenue, Shreveport, La ., 71103.
