Joines
 
   Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Elizabeth Joines, 
83, of 2108 Jones, are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at
Park Street Baptist Church.  She died Wednesday
in Lubbock.
   Dr. Marvin J. Mosley and Rev. Carl Watkins
will officiate.  Burial will be in the Quinlan IOOF 
Cemetery.
   She was born Dec. 21, 1899 in Farmersville to
J.H. and Connie Murchison Howell.  She married
Jimmie Hall in 1917.  He preceded her in death
in 1935.  She later remarried to Edward Joines
on May 27, 1944.  He preceded her in death on
Jan. 9, 1972.  Mrs. Joines was a member of
Park Street Baptist Church.
   Survivors include a son, James Hall of Greenville;
a brother, Kenny Howell of Corsicana; two sisters,
Mrs. Flora Curfman of Cranfills Gap and Mrs.
Julia Nunley of Bryson and eight grandchildren.
   She was preceded in death by a daughter,
Mrs. Geneva Ross, in 1972 and a son, Billy
Joe Hall, in 1955.
   Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.
   Coker-Matthews Funeral Home is in charge
of arrangements.
