John Frame and Elizabeth his wife by their certain indenture of bargin and sale leaving date 29th day of November 1811 have sold and conveyed unto John Sympson on certain lot or cave of land with the appurtenances lying and being in the town of Winchester and county of Clark and wheas the said Elizabeth cannot conveniently travel to our county court of Clark to make acknowledgement of the said conveyance. Know ye therefore that we trusting to your fidelity and providence circumspection do give unto you or any two or more of you power to receive said acknowledgement as the said Elizabeth shall be willing to make before you of the conveyance aforesaid contained in the said indenture hereunto ____________________ and we therefore command you personally to go to the said Elizabeth and receive her acknowledgement of the same and examine her privately and apart from the said John Frame her husband whether she doth the same freely and voluntarily without his persuading or threat and whether she be willing that the same should be recorded in our county Court of Clark aforesaid.
