London Free Press, 1 May 2004 - Marjorie Elizabeth VINING retired Civil Servant, age 85, passed away peacefully in Saint Marys, April 27, 2004. Daughter of Ethel TIMPANY and Glidden VINING.  She is survived by Bruce and Sharon BARNES and family, as well as several other cousins. Private interment service. Memorial Service at Bromley Road Baptist Church in Ottawa on May 22 at 3 pm. On line condolences accepted at In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Gideons Int'l gratefully appreciated.

Ethel Pearl TIMPANY married Glidden Bodwell VINING on 23 May 1917 at Aylmer West (Elgin Co) Ontario.  Marriage reg'n 7783-17.  Ethel  was 29 years old, born in Aylmer, d/o Charles TIMPANY & Hannah CLARKE.  Glidden was age 29, born in Thorndale, s/o Solomon VINING & Esther GOURLAY.  Witnesses at the wedding were Clarke TIMPANY of Samalket India & Thomas MITCHELL of Aylmer West.   Glidden was a farmer in Thorndale at the time.

Dear mother of Alison BEAUMONT of Vancouver, and of Denham DINGLE of Lindsay and his wife Joanne. Devoted grandmother of Ian (Canmore, Alberta), Peter (Hamburg, Germany), and Mary Alison DINGLE (Hamilton). Daughter of the late Reverend Dr. and Mrs. A.J VINING.  In her 97th year, she was the last remaining member of her generation in both the VINING and the DINGLE families. .... etc
