1. Jervis¹ Spencer was born before 1695; he married Ann Comegys, daughter of William Comegys and Elizabeth Tyler, circa 1720.
He was a weaver. He resided at Kent Co., MD. He left a will on 11 Nov 1760 at Kent Co., MD; proved 1 Jan 1761.
Ann Comegys was born on 30 Oct 1700.

2. Col. Isaac² Spencer (Jervis¹) was born 27 Jan 1734/35 at Shrewsbury Parish, Kent Co., MD; he married Hannah; he died before 21 Jul 1785 at Maryland.

Elizabeth Thompson was born on 3 Apr 1777. She died on 7 Dec 1819 at age 42.

Generation Four

4. William Alexander⁴ Spencer (Isaac³, Isaac², Jervis¹) was born 24 Dec 1802; he married Catherine Murray Carmichael, daughter of William Carmichael and Sarah Downes, 23 May 1833 at Queen Anne's Co., MD; he died in Mar 1863 at age 60.
He was Clerk of the Maryland Court of Appeals. He was an attorney. He resided at Annapolis, MD. He and Catherine Murray Carmichael resided at 'Ashleigh', Centreville, Queen Anne's Co., MD.
Catherine Murray Carmichael was born on 12 Jul 1806. She died on 8 Feb 1878 at age 71.

5. Charles McGill⁵ Spencer (William⁴, Isaac³, Isaac², Jervis¹) was born 15 May 1844 at Centreville, Queen Anne's Co., MD; he married Mary Shippen McIlvaine, daughter of Alexander Murray McIlvaine and Mary Cowperthwaite Olden, 3 Nov 1880 at Philadelphia, PA; 1st husband; he died 20 Sep 1887 at 'Athol', Centreville, Queen Anne's Co., MD, at age 43.
He and Mary Shippen McIlvaine resided at Philadelphia, PA.
Mary Shippen McIlvaine was born on 17 Mar 1856 at Pennsylvania. She married Harold Goodwin, son of Rev. Daniel Raynes Goodwin and Mary Randall Merrick, on 22 Aug 1901; 2nd husband, 2nd wife. Elizabeth Rodman Spencer was born 18 Aug 1886 at Centreville, Queen Anne's Co., MD; she married James William Slaughter, son of Dr. John Philip Slaughter and Catherine Foster, 3 Nov 1909 at Philadelphia, PA; no issue; she died 10 Aug 1975 at Bryn Mawr, PA, at age 88; she was buried at Warrenton Cemetery, Warrenton, Fauquier Co., VA.
She was known as "Betty." She and James William Slaughter resided at 'Athol', The Plains, Fauquier Co., VA.
James William Slaughter was born 3 Oct 1878 and died 5 May 1951.

Generation Six

6. Catherine Murray⁶ Spencer (Charles⁵, William⁴, Isaac³, Isaac², Jervis¹) was born 5 Aug 1881 at Maryland; she married Henry Evan Taylor; she died Oct 1943 at age 63.
Henry Evan Taylor resided at Philadelphia, PA.

Mullarky, 23 Sep 1933 at St. Patrick's Church, Philadelphia, PA; 1st husband; she married Robert Alexander Montgomery, son of Col. Robert Leaming Montgomery and Charlotte Hope Binney Tyler; 2nd husband, 3rd wife. She died in Mar 1991.
Edwin James Schoettle Jr was born on 15 May 1909. He died in Apr 1977 at age 67.
