     He was a merchant at New York, NY. He was Mayor of New York. He
left a will on 9 Jun 1682; codicil 10 Jun 1682, proved 11 Jul 1682.

     Known children of Thomas DeLaval include:
     2.          i. Mary DeLaval, b. circa 1645; m. Thomas Landon.
                ii. Frances Delavall; m. Capt. James Carteret, son of
                    Sir George Carteret and Elizabeth, 15 Apr 1673.
               iii. Margaret Delavall; m. Thomas Codrington 2 Oct 1678.
                iv. Rebeckah Delavall; m. William Darvall 12 Sep 1670.
                 v. John Delavall.


                      Generation Two

2.  Mary DeLaval (Thomas1); b. circa 1645; m. Thomas Landon, son of
Sylvanus Landon and Anne, circa 1666; 1st wife.
     She resided at Credenhall, Hereford, England.

     Thomas Landon was born in 1648 at St. Germain, France. He resided
at Middlesex, England. He was educated at Oriel College, Oxford,
England. He resided at Middlesex Co., VA. He died in 1701 at Middlesex
Co., VA.
