1.  Richard Brooke; m. Elizabeth Twyne, daughter of Sir Bryan Twyne,
1552; d. 16 Jan 1593/94.
     He resided at Whitchurch, Hampshire, England. He left a will on
10 Jan 1588/89 at Somerset House, London, England; proved 6 May 1594.

     Elizabeth Twyne left a will on 16 May 1599 at Somerset House,
London, England; proved 2 Jun 1599. She died on 20 May 1599.

     He resided at Whitchurch, co. Northampton, England. He was
educated on 4 May 1584 at New College, Oxford, England. He was a
barrister at Inner Temple. He was a Member of Parliament between 1604
and 1611 at Whitchurch, Hampshire, England. He left a will on 11 Sep
1612; proved 30 Nov 1612.

     Susan Forster was also known as Susan Foster. She was buried on
18 Sep 1612 at Whitchurch, Hampshire, England.

of Rev. Roger Mainwaring, 11 May 1635 at Battell, Sussex, England; 2nd
wife; d. 20 Jul 1655 at Calvert Co., MD, at age 53; bur. at 'Brooke
Place Manor', Calvert Co., MD.
     He resided at Whitchurch, Hampshire, England. He was graduated on
6 Jul 1620 at Wadham College, Oxford, England; B.A. He was graduated
on 20 Apr 1624 at Wadham College, Oxford, England; M.A. He immigrated
on 30 Jun 1650 to Charles Co., MD. He resided in 1650 at 'Brooke Place
Manor', Charles Co., MD. He and Mary Mainwaring was a member of
Council on 22 Jul 1650 at Maryland. He was Acting Governor in 1652 at
Maryland. He was President of Council in 1652 at Maryland.

Calvert and Anne Brent, circa 1664; 1st husband; d. 1679.
     He immigrated on 30 Jun 1650 to Charles Co., Maryland. He was a
member of Council on 6 May 1658 at Maryland. He was Surveyor General
on 1 Aug 1671 at Maryland. He left a will on 19 Mar 1679; proved 26
Mar 1679.

     Ann Calvert married Henry Brent; 2nd husband. She married Richard
Marsham; 3rd husband.
     Known children of Baker Brooke and Ann Calvert include:

5.  Maj. Thomas Brooke (Robert3, Thomas2, Richard1); b. 23 Jun 1632 at
Battle, Sussex, England; m. Eleanor Hatton, daughter of Richard Hatton
and Margaret, circa 1658; 1st husband; d. 1676.
     He immigrated on 30 Jun 1650 to Charles Co., Maryland. He was
High Sheriff at Calvert Co., MD. He resided at Calvert Co., MD. He
left a will on 25 Oct 1676 at Calvert Co., MD; proved 29 Dec 1676.

     Eleanor Hatton was born in 1642. She immigrated in 1649 to
Maryland. She married Col. Henry Darnall; 2nd husband. She left a
will on 31 Mar 1724; proved 21 Feb 1725.

Walter Wolseley and Mary Beauchamp; 2nd wife; d. 8 Apr 1700 at age 62;
bur. at 'Battell Creeke', Calvert Co., MD.
     He immigrated on 30 Jun 1650 to Charles Co., Maryland. He resided
at 'Battell Creeke', Calvert Co., MD. He left a will on 5 Apr 1700;
proved 3 May 1700.

     Dorothy Neale was born at Spain.

9.  Col. Thomas Brooke (Thomas4, Robert3, Thomas2, Richard1); b. circa
1659; m. Anne; 1st wife; m. Barbara Dent, daughter of Thomas Dent and
Rebecca Wilkinson; 2nd wife; d. 7 Jan 1730/31.
     He resided at 'Brookefield', Prince George's Co., MD. He was
President of Council in 1720 at Maryland. He was Acting Governor in
1720 at Maryland.

     Known children of Col. Thomas Brooke and Anne include:
                 i. Eleanor Brooke; m. John Tasker, son of Capt.
                    Thomas Tasker and Rebecca Isaacs; 1st husband.

     Barbara Dent was born in 1676. She died in 1754.

10.  Roger Brooke (Roger4, Robert3, Thomas2, Richard1); b. Apr 1673 at
Calvert Co., MD; m. Elizabeth Hutchins, daughter of Francis Hutchins
and Elizabeth Burrage, 23 Feb 1702; 1st husband; d. Sep 1718 at Prince
George's Co., MD, at age 45.
     He resided at Prince George's Co., MD.

     Elizabeth Hutchins married Capt. Richard Smith, son of Richard
Smith Jr. and Elizabeth Brooke; 2nd husband.
     Known children of Roger Brooke and Elizabeth Hutchins were as

                    Co., MD; d. 28 May 1705 at age 1.

11.  James Brooke (Roger5, Roger4, Robert3, Thomas2, Richard1); b. 21
Feb 1705 at Prince George's Co., MD; m. Deborah Snowden, daughter of
Richard Snowden and Eliza Jane Coale, 21 Jun 1725; 1st wife; d. 11 Mar
1784 at Montgomery Co., MD, at age 79.

     Deborah Snowden died on 29 Apr 1758.
     Known children of James Brooke and Deborah Snowden include:
                 i. Basil Brooke; b. 13 Dec 1738 at Maryland; m.
                    Elizabeth Hopkins, daughter of Gerard Hopkins and
                    Mary Hall, 1 May 1764; d. 22 Aug 1794 at Maryland
                    at age 55.

12.  Ann Brooke (Roger5, Roger4, Robert3, Thomas2, Richard1); b. 29
Mar 1712 at Prince George's Co., MD; m. William Carmichael, circa
1750; 2nd wife.

     William Carmichael was born in 1692 at Edinburgh, Scotland. He
resided at Scotland. He immigrated to Chester River, MD. He resided at
Queen Anne's Co., MD. He married Elizabeth; 1st wife. He left a will
on 8 Dec 1768 at Queen Anne's Co., MD; proved 20 Apr 1769. He died in
1769 at Queen Anne's Co., MD.
