co. Bucks, England. He left a will on 16 Feb 1603; proved 4 May 1604.

London, England.
     He resided at London, England. He was a merchant tailor. He left
a will on 15 Jun 1616; proved 25 Feb 1618.

     Margaret Wilson was born in 1593 at London, England. She married
William Taylor; 2nd husband, 2nd wife. She died circa 1627.

3.  Edward Rawson (David2, Edward1); b. 16 Apr 1615 at Gillingham, co.
Dorset, England; m. Rachel Perne, daughter of Richard Perne and Rachel
Greene, circa 1636 at England; d. 27 Aug 1693 at Boston, MA, at age
78.
     He and Rachel Perne immigrated circa 1636 to Newbury, MA. He was
Secretary of the Colony at Massachusetts. He resided in 1650 at
Boston, MA.

     Rachel Perne died on 11 Oct 1677 at Boston, MA.

     He was graduated in 1678 at Harvard College, Cambridge, MA.He
resided at Mendon, Worcester Co., MA. He was a minister at Mendon,
Worcester Co., MA. 

     Susanna Wilson was born on 1 Dec 1664. She died on 8 Jul 1748 at
age 83.

                xi. Grindal Rawson; b. 6 Sep 1707 at Mendon, Worcester
                    Co., MA; m. Dorothy Chauncey, daughter of Rev.
                    Isaac Chauncey, 19 May 1738; d. 27 Mar 1777 at
                    East Haddam, CT, at age 69.
                    He was graduated in 1728 at Yale College, New
                    Haven, CT. He resided in 1732 at South Hadley, MA.
                    He and Dorothy Chauncey had 6 children. He resided
                    in 1741 at East Haddam, CT.
               xii. Elizabeth Rawson; b. 21 Apr 1710; m. Abner
                    Hazeltine 11 Feb 1730; 1st husband; m. James Wood;

6.  Capt. William Rawson (William4, Edward3, David2, Edward1); b. 8
Dec 1682 at Braintree, MA; m. Sarah Crosby, daughter of Simon Crosby
and Rachel Brackett, 1710; d. Oct 1769 at Mendon, MA, at age 86.
     He was a teacher.

     Sarah Crosby was born on 27 Jul 1684 at Billerica, MA. She died
after 1733.

7.  Wilson Rawson (Grindal4, Edward3, David2, Edward1); b. 23 Jun
1692; m. Margaret Arthur, daughter of John Arthur and Priscilla
Gardner, 4 May 1712; 1st husband; d. 1 Dec 1726 at age 34.
     He was a farmer. He resided at Mendon, MA.

     Margaret Arthur resided at Nantucket, MA. She married Jonathan
Pinkham, son of Richard Pinkham and Mary Coffin, on 10 Dec 1731 at
Mendon, MA; 2nd husband. She died on 14 Nov 1757.
     Known children of Wilson Rawson and Margaret Arthur were as

                 v. Grindal Rawson; b. 13 Jul 1719 at Massachusetts;
                    m. Hannah Leavens; 1st wife; m. Elizabeth Boyd;
                    2nd wife; m. Zerniah Harris; 3rd wife; m. Nancy
                    Atwell 1771; 4th wife; d. Dec 1803 at Rhode
                    Island at age 84.
                    He was a carpenter and a cabinet maker. He resided
                    in 1741 at Providence, RI.
                vi. Edward Rawson; b. 2 Apr 1721; m. Mary Morse 7 Apr
                    1748; d. 11 Feb 1807 at Leicester, MA, at age 85.
                    He resided at Mendon, MA. He resided at Leicester,
                    MA.
               vii. Stephen Rawson; b. 2 Apr 1722; m. Elizabeth; d. 14
                    Mar 1773 at age 50.
                    He resided at Providence, RI. He was a member of
                    the state legislature in 1769 at Rhode Island.
              viii. Paul Rawson; b. 9 Apr 1725; m. Phebe Gardner,
                    daughter of Abel Gardner; d. 1772; at sea.
                    He resided at Nantucket, MA. He was master of a
                    vessel.

8.  Thomas Rawson (Wilson5, Grindal4, Edward3, David2, Edward1); b. 27
Sep 1714 at Mendon, MA; m. Anne Waldron, daughter of Cornelius Waldron
and Ann Throope, 14 Apr 1737 at Bristol, RI; 1st wife; m. Hannah
Sheffield 29 Mar 1785; int., 2nd husband, 2nd wife; d. 10 Jul 1802 at
Mendon, MA, at age 87.
     He was placed in the guardianship of his Aunt Susanna's huband
Benjamin Reynolds 16 Feb 1730/31 in Bristol, RI. He resided at Mendon,
MA.

     Anne Waldron was born on 25 Sep 1720 at Bristol, RI. She died on
29 Jul 1783 at Mendon, MA, at age 62. She was buried at Old Cemetary,
Mendon, MA.

Nelson; 1st husband. She died on 8 Feb 1803 at Milford, MA. She was
buried at Vernon Grove Cemetary, Milford, MA.

9.  Anna Rawson (Thomas6, Wilson5, Grindal4, Edward3, David2,
Edward1); b. 8 May 1749 at Mendon, MA; m. Col. Benjamin Hoppin, son of
Benjamin Hoppin and Phebe Davis, 24 Jan 1770 at Providence, RI; 1st
wife; d. 1 Jan 1794 at age 44.
     She resided at Providence, RI.

     Col. Benjamin Hoppin was born on 12 May 1747 at Attleborough, MA.
He was a Lieutenant in Babcock's Regiment during the Revolutionary
War. He was a merchant. He resided at Providence, RI. He was a Captain
during Revolutionary War in Lippit's Regiment. He married Mary
Waterman, daughter of Christopher Waterman and Phebe Aborn; 2nd wife.
He died in Nov 1809 at Providence, RI, at age 62.
