He was graduated in 1706 at Yale College, New Haven, CT. He was the
1st President of the College of New Jersey. He was a pastor at 1st
Presbyterian Church, Newark, NJ. He resided at Elizabeth, NJ. He
published "Reasonableness of Christianity" in 1732. He married Mary
Crane in Apr 1747; 2nd wife. He died on 7 Oct 1747 at Elizabethtown,
NJ, at age 59.
