1.  Nicholas Corbin; m. Johanna Sturmy, daughter of William Sturmy.
     He resided at 'Hall End', Warwickshire, England; aquired during
the reign of Richard III.

     Known children of Nicholas Corbin and Johanna Sturmy were:
     2.          i. Richard Corbin, b. between 1522 and 1533; m. Anne
                    Ramsey.

2.  Richard Corbin (Nicholas1); b. between 1522 and 1533; m. Anne
Ramsey, daughter of Thomas Ramsey.
     He resided at 'Hall End', Warwickshire, England.

     Known children of Richard Corbin and Anne Ramsey were:
     3.          i. Thomas Corbin, m. Ann Repington.

3.  Thomas Corbin (Richard2, Nicholas1); m. Ann Repington, daughter of
William Repington; d. circa 1584.
     He resided at 'Hall End', Warwickshire, England.

     Known children of Thomas Corbin and Ann Repington were:
     4.          i. George Corbin, b. 1566; m. Mary Faunt.

4.  George Corbin (Thomas3, Richard2, Nicholas1); b. 1566; m. Mary
Faunt, daughter of William Faunt; d. 25 Sep 1636.
     He resided at 'Hall End', Warwickshire, England.

     Mary Faunt died in 1614.
     Known children of George Corbin and Mary Faunt were:
     5.          i. Thomas Corbin, b. 24 May 1594 at 'Hall End',
                    Warwickshire, England; m. Winifred Grosvenor.


                          Generation Five

5.  Thomas Corbin (George4, Thomas3, Richard2, Nicholas1); b. 24 May
1594 at 'Hall End', Warwickshire, England; m. Winifred Grosvenor,
daughter of Gawen Grosvenor and Dorothy Pudsey, 1620; d. Jun 1637 at
'Hall End', Warwickshire, England, at age 43.

     Known children of Thomas Corbin and Winifred Grosvenor were as
follows:
                 i. Thomas Corbin; b. Apr 1624; m. Margaret Goodyer,
                    daughter of Edmund Goodyer, 1645.
     6.         ii. Hon. Henry Corbin, b. 1629 at 'Hall End',
                    Warwickshire, England; m. Alice Eltonhead.
               iii. George Corbin; m. Abigail Tayspil, daughter of
                    George Tayspil; d. at West Indies.
                iv. Gawin Corbin; m. Grace Smith; d. 25 Feb 1709 at
                    Yelverton, Norfolk, England.

                          Generation Six

6.  Hon. Henry Corbin (Thomas5, George4, Thomas3, Richard2,
Nicholas1); b. 1629 at 'Hall End', Warwickshire, England; m. Alice
Eltonhead, daughter of Richard Eltonhead and Ann Sutton, 25 Jul 1656;
d. 8 Jan 1675/76 at 'Buckingham House', Middlesex Co., VA.
     He immigrated in 1654 to Virginia; ship 'Charity.' He and Alice
Eltonhead resided at 'Buckingham House', Middlesex Co., VA.

     Alice Eltonhead was born at Eltonhead, Lancaster, England. She
married Rowland Burnham. She married Henry Creek. She died in 1684.
     Known children of Hon. Henry Corbin and Alice Eltonhead were as
follows:
                 i. Letitia Corbin; b. 1657; m. Col. Richard Lee, son
                    of Col. Richard Lee and Anna Owen; d. 6 Oct 1706.
                ii. Thomas Corbin; b. 1658; d. 4 Nov 1736.
                    He was a leather merchant. He resided at London,
                    England.
     7.        iii. Col. Gawin Corbin, b. 1659; m. Catherine Wormeley;
                    m. Jane Lane; m. Martha Bassett.
     8.         iv. Alice Corbin, b. 14 Feb 1660; m. Hon. Philip
                    Lightfoot.
                 v. Winifred Corbin; b. 3 Nov 1661; m. Col. LeRoy
                    Griffin; d. 1711.
     9.         vi. Anne Corbin, b. 9 Feb 1664; m. Hon. William
                    Taylor.
               vii. Henry Corbin; b. 12 Feb 1666/67; d. 1669.
              viii. Frances Corbin; m. Gov. Edmund Jennings, son of
                    Sir Edmund Jennings and Margaret Barkham; d. 22
                    Nov 1715.


                          Generation Seven

7.  Col. Gawin Corbin (Henry6, Thomas5, George4, Thomas3, Richard2,
Nicholas1); b. 1659; m. Catherine Wormeley, daughter of Ralph
Wormeley; m. Jane Lane, daughter of John Lane; 2nd husband; m. Martha
Bassett, daughter of Hon. William Bassett and Joanna Burwell; 3rd
wife; d. 1 Jan 1744/45.
     He resided at 'Peckaton', Westmoreland Co., VA. He resided at
'Lanesville', King and Queen Co., VA. He left a will on 1 Nov 1739;
proved 12 Mar 1744/5.

     Jane Lane married Willis Wilson; 1st husband.
     Known children of Col. Gawin Corbin and Jane Lane include:
                 i. Col. Richard Corbin; b. 1708; m. Elizabeth
                    Tayloe, daughter of Hon. John Tayloe and Elizabeth
                    Gwynn, 9 Jun 1737; d. 1787.
                    He and Elizabeth Tayloe resided at 'Laneville',
                    King and Queen Co., VA.

     Martha Bassett was born on 28 Dec 1694.

8.  Alice Corbin (Henry6, Thomas5, George4, Thomas3, Richard2,
Nicholas1); b. 14 Feb 1660; m. Hon. Philip Lightfoot, son of John
Lightfoot and Elizabeth Phillips, 28 Sep 1679; d. circa 1713.

     Hon. Philip Lightfoot was born at England. He immigrated before
1670 to Virginia. He left a will in 1708. He died circa 1710 at
Gloucester Co., VA. He was buried at 'Sandy Point', Wallingford
Parish, James City Co., VA.
     Known children of Alice Corbin and Hon. Philip Lightfoot include:
                 i. Philip Lightfoot; b. 1689; m. Mary Armistead,
                    daughter of William Armistead and Anna Lee; 2nd
                    husband; d. 1748.
                    He resided at Yorktown, York Co., VA. He left a
                    will in 1747.
                ii. Francis Lightfoot; m. Elizabeth.
                    He and Elizabeth resided at 'Sandy Point.'

9.  Anne Corbin (Henry6, Thomas5, George4, Thomas3, Richard2,
Nicholas1); b. 9 Feb 1664; m. Hon. William Taylor 1685; d. 1694.

     Hon. William Taylor resided at London, England. He resided at
Lancaster Co., VA. He resided at Richmond Co., VA. He died in 1710.
