                      Generation One

1.  Thomas Marshall; m. Alva circa 1628; m. Alice; 2nd wife; d. before
8 Dec 1664.
     He was a deacon. He was a ferryman at Charlestown, MA.

     Known children of Thomas Marshall and Alva were as follows:
                 i. Thomas Marshall; b. 1629.
     2.         ii. Capt. Samuel Marshall, b. 7 May 1630; m. Mary
                    Wilton.
     3.        iii. Sarah Marshall, b. 1631; m. James Pemberton.
                iv. Frances Marshall; b. 1633; m. ___ Willey; 1st
                    husband; m. Joseph Howe 16 Jul 1652 at Boston,
                    MA.

     Alice died on 20 May 1664.
     Known children of Thomas Marshall and Alice were as follows:
                 i. Eliakim Marshall; b. 1 1mo 1637.
                ii. Thomas Marshall; baptized 7 11mo 1643.


                      Generation Two

2.  Capt. Samuel Marshall (Thomas1); b. 7 May 1630; m. Mary Wilton 25
Aug 1652 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT; d. 19 Dec 1675 at Battle of
Narragansett, RI, at age 45.

     Known children of Capt. Samuel Marshall and Mary Wilton were:
                 i. Lydia Marshall; b. 3 Feb 1655/56 at Windsor, CT;
                    m. Capt. Joseph Hawley, son of Lt. Thomas Hawley
                    and Dorothy Harbottle, 24 Sep 1676 at Northampton,
                    Hampshire Co., MA.

3.  Sarah Marshall (Thomas1); b. 1631; m. James Pemberton at Boston,
MA; d. 24 May 1709.
     She and James Pemberton resided at Boston, MA.

     James Pemberton was born in 1622. He immigrated in 1646 to New
England. He was a brewer. He was a founder of Old South Church,
Boston. He resided in 1646 at Newbury, MA. He resided at Boston, MA;
he was made freeman in 1648. He left a will on 12 Feb 1695. He died
Oct 1696.
