b. 15 March 1808/1809
married Margaret (Moon) 14 April 1830
d. 22 March 1894

Served in the Mexican War

In Orphan Court Record August Term 1811 in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, a petition of Margaret Silvius widow and relict of Henry late deceased stating to the court that her said husband died leaving issue 11 children, 7 of which, to wit:  Mary, Betsy, Moses, William, Nicholas, Conrad, and Margaret Silvilus, are minors under the age of 14 years . . .   etc. . . . court appoints Issac Parr guardian until they reach the age of 21.

Baptismals for all the children have been found except for Conrad.  His death record in Grant Township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, states he was born in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, dying at the age of 85 years.  Two obituaries have been found:   (1)  stating age of 85 years; (2) stating age of 86 years.

His grave marker shows "85 yrs 12 ds."  According to said marker, his birth would be 15 March 1809.  According to baptismal records, his sister was born 18 January 1809, making it very doubtful that he was born in months later.
