It consists of chuck steak or skirt, potato, swede and onion (if liked) wrapped in a circle of pastry and crimped at the top.

What is the Cornish Tartan?
There are two, the Cornish National Tartan (yellow/gold background) and the Cornish Hunting Tartan (green background). Kilts are worn by men and women alike, particularly at special occasions such as weddings, St Piran's Day, rugby finals and gatherings (and in my case, job interviews!!!) There is also a St Piran Tartan (black and red on white) and a Curnow tartan (purple) for the Curnow family. There are probably others, of which I would be glad to hear.
