Eva F. England, 93, of Warrenton, Mo., died Saturday, July 13 1996 at the Greentree Care Center in Warrenton.

She was born to William and Mabel Edwards Stewart April 17, 1903 in Hettick.

She was united in marriage in 1924 to Ray England in Carlinville.

Eva was a retired post master of 30 years for the Nilwood U.S. Post Office in Nilwood, Ill. She was a member of the Nilwood Baptist Church in Nilwood, Mo.
Survivors include two sons, Robert England and wife, Mary, of Indianapolis, Ind., and Gene England and wife, Rosemarie, of Warrenton, Mo.; one sister, Eulah English of St. Louis, Mo.; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.

Eva was preceded in death by her husband and one brother, Vernon Stewart of Carlinville.

Graveside services were Wednesday at 11 a.m., from the Girard cemetery, Rev. Bill Dean officiating. Burial was under the direction of the Nieburg-Martin Funeral Home of Warrenton, Mo. Local arrangements were handled by the Berry Funeral Home in Girard.
