Anyone interested in getting names from FTM should try the following:
- Click on http://www.familytreemaker.com will get you to the homepage
- Click the "AGENTS" button
- Click the "INTERNET FAMILY FINDER AGENT" line
- Enter the name(s) desired
- FTM should then return all known information for each name, IF the author also built a homepage, their name, address, etc., will also be displayed.
To obtain the address of WTF Submitters you must first be a register WTF user. You need the CD ID number that is on the back of booklet that is in the case containing the WTF program disc. It is also on the silver ring in the center of the program disc. A visial help will is included in the application form instructions. The following is one procedure to use.
- Get on line.
- Open WTF
- Click "ON line " button near the right end of the "WTF Tool Bar". This should bring up the WTF On line page.
- Scroll down the right column to" Tools" link and click.
- Scroll down to "Genealogy Contacts" and click.
- Fill out the form and follow the submit procedure.
- The name and address will be sent the next working day by E-mail.
- All addresses I have received are Snail Mail but I have been able to Find E-mail Address through Yahoo Yellow Pages.
