DeFRATES/DAY, FERREIRA, RODRIGUES, DEIS, Fernandes

Joakin Deis (this particular spelling comes from his marriage license, but I have seen variations in the spelling of both his first and last name) married Caroline Rhoudriggus on April 2, 1850 in Morgan County, Illinois. Here are the names of their children:
Henry Day m. Sophie Sylvista,
John Day m. Belle Scott,
Mary Day m. Frank Gallamore,
Will Day m. Carrie Manus,
Joseph Day m. Rosa Fernandes, and
George Day, Sr. m. Julia DeFrates, daughter of exiles Joseph DeFrates and Mary Ferreira (Smith) who were married on Dec. 5, 1860 in Morgan County (these spellings are also off their marriage license).

The children of George and Julia are:
Anna Day m. Ray Ringland,
Harold Day m. Mabel ?,
Phillip Day (post master of Jacksonville--never married) and
George Harry Day---b. May 9, 1891---d. Feb 24, 1962--m. 1912 to Helen Marie Tapscott.
Their son, John Day, was my dad.

The children of Joseph and Mary DeFrates were
Julia B abt Sept 1860-1, m. John C. Fernandes abt 1890, d. 1948-9: John C. was a finish carpenter and d. ca 1930s, Jville; no children.
Anna b. abt 1863-4, d. in the 1950's at age 94
Joseph Jr. b. abt 1868 de. 1950's at age 75

I know that's not much information to go on, but it is all that I have. I have a few old pictures of Joseph DeFrates, Julia DeFrates Day, "Uncle John Fernandes and Auntie Fernandes."
