Hello. I am looking for any and all information on my great grandparents who came from Madeira to Springfield, Illinois. They were here by at least 1868 and changed their surname to SMITH.G-Grandfather: Joćo (or Emanuel?) Smith/LOMALINO - born Madeira, Oct 16, 1840
G-Grandmother: Lucinda/Cinda Velvet FRANKS/FRANKO- born Madeira, circa1840
Twelve children, including Fred, John, Louie, Rosa, Elsworth, Emma, Katie, Emanuel or Mannie...
They probably lived on Sixth Street in Springfield.
