DE ANDRADE, MENDES, VIERRA
The ancestor names of my great great grandparents are as far back as I have to date. They came from Madeira and their names are Francisco Mendes who was born in Madeira and married Rose De Andrade who I believe was born in 1850 (I think, but this date could be inaccurate) so they would have been children on the ships. I am trying to locate their names or their parents.
My great grandfather was Raymond Vierra, so am also looking for the name Vierra.
Raymond married Louisa Mendes. There is also an Antonio Mendes and Olivia Virginia Mendes.
I am not sure which ship they were on but they went to Trinidad (where I am from) and settled there.
They did not move to Illinois.
They could have been aboard the Parock Hall of Glasgow or the William of Glasgow or perhaps they went to New York first on one of the ship you mentioned and then to Trinidad.
I know they were Presbyterians, as I attended, as a child, the church that was originally set up by Henrique Viera in Trinidad.
Any information you can provide would be great. Thanks again.
