My grandmother immigrated to St. Vincent from Portugal, I don't know when. She was the child of a Portuguese woman and a Roman priest, so my attempts at finding any background on that side of our family is almost impossible. All I know is that her name was Isabella de SILVA. She had 3 boys and 1 daughter, I think.I have no idea even where to start. I will try for my father's marriage certificate or birth certificate. My father was born on St. Vincent Island.
