Jordan-- Rich Morse just told me about your move to Portugal and directed me to your website. I will explore the website more later, but wanted to drop you a quick line and tell you how great I think this is. We will be interested to hear how you are adding to Habitat work in Braga and elsewhere in Portugal. It was fun to work with you and Austin last summer, and nice to think we saw you at the beginning of this Portuguese phase of your habitat lives. My wife and I and four others took part in a Habitat 20 house building blitz done on Snoqualmie Ridge, about 8 miles east of Issaquah, for 3 days this past week. Very different than Braga. very upscale. Can you imagine a Habitat work site where Starbucks supplies free lattes, around the clock (or at least 7 to 7?) That Habitat in Seattle. I met a few members of Habitat East King County who came with a separate team to Braga last summer in August. Rich and I did not even know that they had done this until they came back. More later. Hello to you all ! I've just rediscovered your grand adventure in speaking with John Fergason today. It was three weeks ago when you all left, no ? Seems like it to me - and maybe for you, too. I'll try to come back later or talk offline, but I wanted you to know how comforted I am with your commitment to service and making a difference in the lives of others. It's truly rare, and a Gift. It's a touchpoint for my day here in the office today. I'm also told that Drex's conundrums have been mostly sorted out; for that (and as a parent) I am grateful and relieved. Last for now, there's Austin, whom I am told is engaged to be married. This is of course a clever ruse, since just a few years ago when I saw her for the first time, she was nine years old. I'm sure her parents wouldn't allow a thirteen year old to marry. I'm looking forward to hopefully "speaking" with you all sometime soon and I will be perusing the pages here (with almost 63K hits, no less....
