Henry must have died before 1860 as only Elizabeth & children were on that census. Stephen FOUNTAIN married Sarah Elizabeth MARTIN on Sep 12, 1869. Stephen & Sarah's children were Nancy Isabelle b Jun 16, 1870 d Jan 8, 1876; Elizabeth Jane b Oct 7, 1871 d Oct 4, 1873 and William Sanford FOUNTAIN b Dec 13, 1873. Stephen FOUNTAIN died Feb 4, 1876 at age 26 in Wayne County, IL. Sarah MARTIN FOUNTAIN married John W MORRIS on Sep 4, 1879 in Wayne Co, IL. Does anyone known anything about these people? The court house in Wayne County, IL burned down in 1886 making research difficult.
