I look forward to your help in making this website a useful tool for
all of us researching the Lovett/Lovitt (& variations) surname
Please feel free to send any obituaries, wills, county histories, pension or veteran records that you feel would help others.
1. In order to post your personal surname data on this website, PLEASE include sources
for your data - but your sources can be as simple as "Conversation with Aunt Polly at the
family picnic." It's only to let folks know where you got the info.
2. Please do not send any descendant data for anyone whose PARENTS were
born after 1880. You may include their spouse and marriage data, but no
descendant data. This is in response to privacy laws, and I simply can not post it. I'm sorry.
3. You should be willing to answer email requests and/or snail mail
requests if this is your personal data. Of course, this is how you find all those
long-lost cousins! If you send miscellaneous records,
such as marriage records, county histories, etc., I will simply refer any
requests to the source.
With that said, please feel free to send your data. I will update the
site as often as I can. Although I welcome
all contributions, I can not reimburse you for postage or copying costs,
should you decide to use snail mail to send that information.
To send the data, you may email me if you have only a limited
amount of data; you may send me a gedcom file with your data (but please
don't include collateral lines!); or you may snail mail me data. If you want my
snail mail address, email me and I will send it.
