Brow) assent to Boston with wife Hannah in 1760.
Pierre and Anne had eight children, all born at Riviere-aux-Canards, Grand Pre.

Story* Notes on: Alexis Breaux

(RN=276) (CBL.84) Alexis resided at Riviere-aux-Canards. The whole family was deported
to Massachusetts in 1755 and assigned to the town of Hingham. Alexis was a member of a
delegation which the Massachusetts Legislature in March 1766 sent to Quebec to obtain from the
then English Governor, Murray, a permit for the Acadians to migrate to the Province of Quebec.
Alexis returned to Boston in June with the permit dated 28 April 1766. From Hingham, the whole
family, except for Firmin, migrated first to L'Assumption, Quebec (near Montreal), probably in
1767 since the four daughters were baptized there in May and June 1767. By 1770 the family
had moved to the Petite Riviere de Montreal (now Riviere L'Acadie) near Montreal and remained
there. As of 1984, Pierre Brault, a relative although not a direct descendant of Alexis,
was occupying the site of the Alexis Breaux homestead at 387 Chemin L'Evangeline, L'Acadie.
Alexis and Marguerite had eight children.

Story* Notes on: Jean Baptiste Brau II

(RN=278) (CBL.86) Jean Baptiste and his family were exiled from Acadie in 1755, probably
to Maryland, for the 7 July 1763 census of neutral inhabitants of Acadia detained at Oxford,
Maryland, lists the family as living there. Some time thereafter they moved to Louisiana, for
the 14 September 1769 census of the Acadian Coast in Louisiana shows Jean Baptiste residing at
Lot No. 152 on the east bank of the Mississippi River, his son Armant adjoining at Lot No. 153
and his brother Paul also adjoining at Lot No. 151.
From the union of Jean Baptiste and Marie Rose there resulted seven children.
