BUT FIRST... Where is Buckley? Buckley, Illinois is located on U.S. Hwy 45 roughly half way between Kankakee and Champaign. There is an exit from I-57, which runs west of town.

KRUMWIEDE FAMILY REUNION
The Krumwiede Family Reunion meets the first Sunday of August each year at Buckley Lake Park. A potluck meal is served at noon.

SPREHE FAMILY REUNION
The Sprehe Family Reunion meets the Saturday before the Krumwiede Reunion every 3 years at Buckley Lake Park. This is for the convenience of descendants of Henry Charles Krumwiede and Minna Sprehe, giving them an opportunity to attend both reunions without making two trips.

LUHRSEN FAMILY REUNION
The Luhrsen Family Reunion meets the last Saturday in July each year. The location changes from year to year, and a location has not yet been offered for the 2001 reunion. When the location is decided, it will be posted here.

WHY HAVE AND ATTEND FAMILY REUNIONS?
