I am a member of the Army Reserves.  I was activated in November and left Alabama and family to be assigned to Fort Leonardwood, Mo.  Not sure how much longer I will be here or when I will be released.  We have been activated to teach chemical soldiers.  Anyway, I am a chemical officer working as the executive officer for the 4/100th Chemical Battalion.  I am a Major in the Army Reserves.  We may be used to fill vacancies in various units when the training is done.

Hello, My name is Michael Anthony Raney and I'm 32 years old.  My great
grandmother was Dorothy Krumwiede and my grandmother was Dorothy Raney.  My
father Ken, is the youngest of Dorothy's 4 children.
I am active duty U.S. Navy.  I am a Chief Petty Officer Journalist,
currently forward-deployed to Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Japan (CNFJ) HQ
in Yokosuka, Japan.
My wife Tina also proudly serves our country.  She is a Hospital Corpsman
First Class Petty Officer, stationed onboard the Navy's only permanantly
deployed aircraft carrier, USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63), which also happens to be
the oldest active warship in the U.S. Fleet.  Tina and Kitty Hawk are
currently deployed to the Persian (Arabian) Gulf in support of Operation
Iraqi Freedom.
