FYI, I learned that Delmar Wayne Ronna, son of Delmar and Mary Jean Ronna, died today in Loda, IL of an apparent heart attack while mowing his lawn. I suspect that his funeral will be at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Loda in a couple of days. I suspect his obituary will appear in the Paxton Record and likely the Champaign Urbana News Gazette.

Ronald Dean Ronna was born February 12, 1951 at Paxton, son of Delmar A. and Mary Jean Fuoss Ronna. He was graduated in 1969 from Buckley-Loda high school and was employed by the Humko Products of Champaign. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church at Loda, where he was confirmed and baptized.
Surviving are his parents; five brothers, Larry of Decatur and Delmar W., Donald, Rodney and Brian, all at home; and three sisters, Mrs. Marcia Jamison of Loda, and Marla and Valerie, both at home; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Fuoss, Jr., and paternal grandfather, Fred Ronna, all of Thawville. His paternal grandmother preceded him in death.
Services set for 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church at Loda, the Rev. John W. Karlen officiating and burial in St. John cemetery at Buckley. Visitation Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Ford-Baier Funeral Home in Loda
