PAXTON -- Wilbur H. Krumwiede, 86, of Paxton died at 3:50 p.m. Monday (Dec. 29, 2003) at Urbana.
Service: 2 p.m. Sunday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Buckley, the Rev. Mark J. Haller officiating.
Burial: St. John's Cemetery, Buckley, with military graveside rites.
Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Ford-Baier Funeral Home, Paxton, and for an hour before the service Sunday at the church.
Survivors: one daughter, Pat (Harold) Hawn, Urbana; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Irene Brenner, Cissna Park.

Funeral services for Wilbur H. Krumwiede, 86, of Paxton will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 3, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Buckley. The Rev. Mark J. Haller will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery with military rites accorded.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Saturday at Ford-Baier Funeral Home, Paxton, and from 1-2 p.m. Sunday at the church.
Mr. Krumwiede died at 3:50 p.m. Monday, Dec. 29, 2003 in Urbana.
He was born February 17, 1917, in rural Buckley, a son of Edward and Anna Theesfeld Krumwiede. He married Margaret A. Cupp on June 19, 1943, in Alexandria, La. She died July 1, 1995.
Survivors include a daughter, Pat Hawn of Urbana; a sister, Irene Brenner of Cissna Park; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Mr. Krumwiede moved to Cissna Park in 1929 and graduated from Cissna Park High School in 1936. He served in the Army from 1943 to 1945 and was a linotype operator at Stevens Printing Co. in Paxton for 36 years. He was a member and elder at St. John's Lutheran Church in Buckley and a member of Paxton American Legion Post 150.
Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, Buckley or Carle Hospice Program, Urbana.

Margaret A. Krumwiede, 75, 406 E. State Street, Paxton, died Saturday, July 1, 1995, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, where she had been a patient for two weeks.
She was born November 6, 1919 at Calio, Mo., a daughter of Henry and Anna Walton Cupp. She married Wilbur H. Krumwiede on June 19, 1943, at Alexandria, La. Her husband survives, along with a daughter, Patricia (Harold) Hawn of Urbana; four grandchildren, Donald Foster, Elaine Wickenhauser and David Erick Foster, all of Paxton, and Kristen Landess of Urbana; three step grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and ten step-great-grand children.
She was preceded in death by four brothers.
Mrs. Krumwiede graduated from Bevier High School, Bevier, Mo. in 1938. She also graduated from Cosmetology School in Davenport, Iowa and worked as a beautician for several years. She moved from Chicago to Paxton in January, 1946, where she was employed by Stevens Printing for 17 years.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Buckley, where funeral services were held Thursday, July 6, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Gunard Heikkila officiating. Burial was at St. John's Cemetery. Ford-Baier Funeral Home, Paxton was in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
