Property Worth $16,000 Disposed of by Testator; Wife Gets Estate for Life and Personalty

The will of August H. Krumwiede of Buckley, which disposes of an estate consisting of $15,000 worth of real estate and about $1,000 in personal property, was admitted to probate here last week. Witnessed by William E. Mell and Fred Poppe of Buckley, the document was made July 15, 1927. The testator died at Buckley, October 12, 1929, leaving as his sole heirs-at-law, his wife, Louise, and his three children, Ferdinand, Mathilda Johnson and Lillian Kaufman. Mathilda resides in Loda; all the others live in Buckley.
After leaving all his personal property to his wife, the testaor also gives her a life estate of his farm land and his property in Buckley. After her death, according to the will, the farm land is to be divided between the three children, Mathilda and Ferdinand getting estates in fee simple, and Lillian a life estate, remainder to her brother and sister.
The title to the Buckley property upon the death of Mrs. Krumwiede also goes to Ferdinand and Mathilda, provided they pay the sum of $500 to Lillian. The latter amount is made a charge upon the land.
The testator was 67 years old when he made his will. His son, Ferdinand, is named executor.

Bertha "Louisa" M WEISENBARN (daughter of Peter WEISENBARN and Mary JUERGENS) was born on 7 Jul 1865 in Elk Grove, Illinois.53 She died on 10 Jul 1955 in Buckley, Iroquois County, Illinois.54,55

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 12, at St. John's Lutheran church at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Louisa M. Krumwiede, 90.
A short prayer service preceded the two o'clock services at Kelly Memorial Chapel. Rev. W. Eissfeldt officiated.
Mrs. Krumwiede, who had observed her 90th birthday Thursday, died at 9 a.m. Sunday in her home. She had received 92 cards from relatives and friends and also flowers and food for her birthday. She had been in failing health the past six months.
Born July 7, 1865 at Elk Grove, Ill., she was the daughter of Peter and Mary Juergens Weisenbarn. She moved with her parents to Effingham, Ill. and in 1887 they moved to Buckley.
She was married to August Krumwiede on Feb. 13, 1885 at Buckley. He died in October 1929 at 69 years of age. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mathilda Johnson, Mrs. Lillian Kaufman; one son, Ferdinand Krumwiede, Buckley; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Geo. H. Krumwiede, three brothers, Geo. John and Louis Weisenbarn of Buckley. Her parents, five brothers, two sisters preceded her. Burial was in St. John's Cemetery with Kelley Memorial home in charge.
Six grandsons of the deceased served as pall bearers. They included Orlin, Lee and Earl Johnson, and Arno, Delmar and Willard Krumwiede.
