Section A, Row 1A, Plot 113 Raymond Henry KRUMWIEDE and Gertje Ida Wilhelmina
(Gertie) BARTELL were married on 15 Oct 1924 in St. John's Lutheran Church (LCMS),
Buckley, Illinois. Gertje Ida Wilhelmina (Gertie)
BARTELL (daughter of Bartel (Barney) BARTELL and Gebke Reenstina DUITSMAN)
was born on 6 Jun 1902 in Buckley, Iroquois County, Illinois.53,189,190 Gertrude's birth was actually registered with Iroquois
County as "Gertie." The listing reads: BARTELL, Gertie | 6/6/02 | Buckley
| Bartel | DUITSMAN, Gebke. However, since the Bartell family is from Ost Fresia,
my guess is it should be Gertje and the transcriber mis-read it. This is further
supported by the fact that her daughter-in-law reports her baptismal certificate
to read "Gertche," which would be a phonetic spelling of Gertje if
Pastor Braeunig had no idea how to spell the name. Being a Hanoverian, he might
not. She died on 3 Feb 1991 in Sacramento, California.189,191
