May 16, 1919 - Soldier Ad. Krumwiede is daily expected. His folks have heard from him and he is now back in the U.S.

Probably Dec. 1919 -- Mirth and happiness reigned supreme in the home of Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Krumwiede Friday night. Their son Adolph returned from the European battlefields, returned healthy and happy. A big crowd met at this reception to join in the great feast. The young soldier of course, had much to tell, and though the party remained together until a late hour, yet he could not tell near all he saw and heard. Mr. and Mrs. Krumwiede outdid themselves in extending hospitalities. A reunion of friends and relatives could not be more cordial than was that. All are glad that Adolph is back with his family.
He died on 11 Jan 1958 in Watseka, Iroquois County, Illinois.249,252
