Hello.
My name is Paul Froehling. I live in Franklin, WI but grew up in Onarga Twp about
a mile from Martin "Mike" Krumwiede's farm. Mike's daughter, Della,
who is married to Roy Linder, now lives on our family farm.
It was very enjoyable paging through your tree. There are many familiar names
and you come very close to links to my own family.
I happened to find the link to the Krumwiede tree via the Minnesota Genealogical
Society. I am searching for the Froehling family roots and it appears that my
great grandfather may have come to Minnesota, as all my grandfathers siblings
lived there. My grandfather purchased our family farm in 1906. My great grandfather
and great grandmother are buried in the cemetery at Idaville (Ash Grove) and
my Dad told me that they lived in a house on the southwest corner of our farm.
Since you have obviously been through much research in Iroquois County, perhaps
you can give me some tips on researching my family. I have not tried the County
Courthouse for records yet. Are there any Internet sites that I might check?
Again, it was enjoyable visiting your site and I hope to hear from you.
Sincerely.
Paul Froehling
