CLIFTON - Visitation for Irene A. Flott, 84, of Clifton, will be from 9-11 a.m.
Thursday at the Knapp Funeral Home, Clifton.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter's Catholic
Church, Clifton, where she was a member. Rev. Lee Bacchi will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Clifton.
Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Catholic Church.
Mrs. Flott died Monday (Oct. 30, 2000) at her home in Clifton after a sudden
illness.
She was born Sept. 2, 1916, in Onarga, the daughter of Clarence and Edith Heisse
Baker. Her parents are deceased.
Her husband, Shirley G. "Dude" Flott, whom she married July 9, 1938,
in Clifton, died Sept. 22, 1994.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Mary Flott of Dwight,
Bob and Sue Flott of Hoffman Estates; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Esther
Christensen, Florine and Paul Jones, all of Tamarac, Fla.; one sister-in-law,
Mrs. Lorraine Wasmer of Clifton; and five grandchildren, Jeff, Dan, Amy, Carrie
and David Flott.
One brother and two sisters are deceased.
She was a member of the CCW and a former long-time member of the Clifton Woman's
Club.
Her hobbies were sewing and cooking
