This Indenture made this Twenty six Day of Febuary In the Year of our Lord Christ One thousand Seven hundred and fifty six Between James Hurt of the Parrish of St. Davids in the County of King William of the one part and Isaac Tinsley and Thomas Tinsley of the Parrish of R__ntsy and County of Amelia of the other party. Witnesseth that the said James Hurt for divers good causes and considerations him thereto moving but more Espesallay for and in Consideration of the sum of Forty pounds Currant money of Virginia to him in hand paid by the sd Isaac Tinsley and Thomas Tinsley the Recpt whereof he doth hereby acknowledg hath given granted Bargoned Sold Alineat Released and Confirmd and by these presents doth give grant Bargin Sell alien Release and Confirm to the Said Isaac Tinsley and Thomas Tinsley and to thur Heirs and assigns for ever a Certain Tract or Persil of Land Situate laying and being in the Parrish and County aforesaid Contaning Two hundred acres be the same more or less and bounded as follloeth to witt Begining at a Red oak corner in a branch of the Bent Joining Hector Truleys and Fords line Thence along the sd Fords line to Richd Jones' line Thence along the sd Jones' line to a Corner Lightwood knott. Thence along a Intended line Joining William Hurt to a Corner Lightwood knott Joining [inserted line] Shim Cook Thence along a Intended line Joining the Said Cook to a Corner lightwood knott Joining [end inserted line] Hector Truly’s line. Thence along the said line to the begining And all Buildings Woods and Under Woods Standing or growing upon the Primeses and all Ways Endments Profitts Commodites and appertuences Whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the Revertion and Revertions Remainder and Remainders thereof and all the Right Title use Trust Intrust Property Claim and Demand of him the said James Hurt of and in all and Singular the Primises with all and every their Incidents and all Evidences Writings or Minuments of or Concerning the said Land or Primises To have and to hold [page] 406 Hold the said Tract or Persil of Land with all and Singular the Primeses herein before mentioned ment or Intended to be hereby granted with all and every their appertanances unto the Said Isaac Tinsley and Thomas Tinsley and to the Said Thomas Tinsleys Heirs and assigns for ever the only use and behoof of the Said Isaac & Thomas Tinsley and his Heirs and assigns for ever from the said James Hurt and his Heirs the said Tract or Persil of Land and all and Singular the Premises herein before mentioned with all appartinances unto the Said Isaac and Thomas Tinsleys Heirs and assigns and to his and their own proper use and uses against the Challinge Claim and Demand of all Persons whatsoever Shall and will Warrant and for ever by these presents Defend In Witness whereof the said James Hurt hath hereunto set his hand and Seal the day and year above written. In Presence of Alexander Roberts William Clement Jnr James Hurt (seal) Rich’d Booker At a Court held for amelia County the 26th day of February 1756 James Hurt presented and acknowledged this his Deed with livery and Seison Endorsed unto Isaac and Thomas Tinsleys and ordered to be recorded.
