The Family Lieurance

Lieurances have been around for a long time. The earliest known reference to a Lieurance is a Peter Lieurance born around 1737. The Lieurances may be a variation of Lawrence or Lorance, which complicates Lieurance research. Initially, this website will focus on those who spelled (or attempted to spell) the name "Lieurance". You will see some references to other spellings here when we believe they refer to a "Lieurance". Once enough research has been compiled to solidify the growth and spread of the Lieurance family, more effort will be expended to trace the name back.
