INDEX

Notes

He came to Walker County, Alabama about 1840 and settled on a farm near Providence Church (Oakman). He farmed until the outbreak of the Civil War, when he entered the Confederate Army and was either killed or died during the war. Apparently, his body was not returned to Walker County, as he is not buried at Providence Graveyard with his wife, Mary.
