Sriver, Adam; 130 Acres Monongalia, 1816Adam Sriver 130 Acres Monongalia Wilson Carey, Nicholas Esq Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia: To all to whom these presents shall come Greeting: Know Ye; That in Conformity with a survey made the 12th day of October, 1808 (*********) an order of the Worshipful Court of Monongalia County and approved by said Court, There is granted by the said Commonwealth unto Adam Sriver, a certain tract or parcel of Land containing One Hundred and thirty Acres, Situate in the County of Monongalia, on Crooked run, adjoining the Pennsylvania line and bounded as followeth to wit: Beginning at a stone where a white oak and black oak formerly stood, corner to Richard Harrison and Christopher Garlow turning thence, with Garlow line North Three and a halof degrees, East two hundred and ten poles crossing crooked run to a stone where a White Oak formerly stood, in the Pennsylvania line, thence with said line, South eighty eight and a half degrees, East one hundred and twelve poles to a stone where a Walnut formerly stood thence with a line of the land of John Snider South seven and a half degrees, West two hundred and twelve poles crossing crooked run to a hickory, said Snider's Corner, and thence North eighty eight and a half degrees West ninty six poles to the beginning. It being the same tract of land that was formerly granted to the Dec'd Sriver on the 5th day of July 1788, for one hundred and thirty acres agreeably to survey made in the year, 1771. To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land to the said Adam Sriver and his heirs forever. In witness whereof the said Wilson C. Nicholas Esq. Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, hath hereunto set his hand, and caused the lesser(?) seal of the said Commonwealth to be affixed at Richmond, on the twentieth day of September in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and sixteen and of the Commonwealth of the fourty first.
