BETWEEN George Jacob Ketterer of the county of Beaver in the Commonwealth of Penna. and Mary Eve his wife of the Part and George Schenie of the City of Pittsburg in the Commonwealth aforesaid of the other part-

WITNESSETH: That the said George Jacob Ketterer and Mary Eve his wife for and in consideration of the sum of ninety eight dollars and fifty cents lawful money of the United States to the in hand paid by the said George Schinie at or before the ensealing or delivery hereof the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold aliened, enfeoff released and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien enfeoff release and confirm unto the said George Schenie his heirs and assigns,

ALL that certain lot piece or parcel of land situate in the County of Beaver aforesaid being part of tract No. fifty six in Bradens district of Depreciation lands. Bounded and described as follows to-wit; Beginning at a post being the North east corner of tract No. 56 thence by Lot No. 52 south eighty seven and a half degrees west fifty four perches to a post thence by land of the same tract south two degrees east twelve perches to a post no* the Beaver road thence with said road North eighty degrees west fifty five rods and a half to* post thence North one degree west twenty four perches and a half to the place of beginning. CONTAINING six acres and twenty five perches strict measure it being a parcel of the same tract of land which David Porter Sheriff of Beaver County by his deed dated the thirteenth day of *** A.D. one thousand eight hundred and thirty granted unto W.W. Fetterman in fee who with Sarah his wife by deed of Assignment therein written transferred unto John K. McNickle in fee as by reference thereunto recorded in Beaver County in Deed Book No. 7 will appear.

AND the said John K. McNickle and Catherine his wife by their deed dated the eighth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty convey the said lot No. 56 unto George Jacob Ketterer in fee recorded in Beaver County in the Office for Recording deeds in deed book J, pages 373 and 374.

TOGETHER with all and singular the buildings improvements ways water- courses rights liberties privileges hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and the reversions and remainders, rents issues and profits, thereof and also all the estate right title interest property claim and demand whatsoever of them the said George Jacob Ketterer and Mary Eve his wife in law or equity or otherwise howsoever of in and to the same;

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said described lot of six acres and twenty five perches of land hereditaments and premises hereby granted er mentioned or intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said George Shenie his heirs and assigns forever.

AND the said George Jacob Ketterer and Mary Eve his wife covenant prom ise, and agree to and with the said George Shenie his heirs by these presents that they the said George Jacob Ketterer and Mary Eve his wife and their heirs all and singular the hereditaments and premises herein above described and granted or intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said George Schenie his heirs and assigns against them the said George Jacob Ketterer and Mary Eve his wife and their heirs and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF The said George Jacob Ketterer and Mary Eve his wife have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written. Sealed and delivered in presence

RECEIVED on the day of the date of the above Indenture of and from George Schenie the sum of Ninety eight dollars and fifty lawful money of the United States being the consideration money above mentioned in full.

BEAVER COUNTY SS: Before the subscriber a Justice of the peace in and for said County personally came the above named George Jacob Ketterer, and Mary Eve his wife and acknowledged the above Indenture to be their act and deed and desired that the same might be recorded as such. She the said Mary Eve being examined separate and apart from her said husband and the contents of the said Indenture being first made fully known to her, declared that she did voluntarily and of her own free will and accord sign seal and as act and deed deliver the same without any coercion or compulsion of her said husband.

WITNESS my hand and seal the third day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty eight. -
