This Indenture made the thirteenth day of Oct in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty seven Between Benj
n Chew of Ch***** in the County of Beaver Philadelphia Esqn by Benj n
Chew the younger of the same place his attorney in fact duly constituted
byletters of Attorney bearing date the sixth day of May AD 1825 Recorded
in the office for recording deeds in and for said
Beaver County and Book F page 80 of the one part and Jacob Schenie now
of Pittsburgh of the other parts. Witnesseth that for and in the consideration
of seven hundred twenty eight dollars by the said Jacob Schenie to the
said Benj n Chew in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
the said Benj n Chew Hath bargained sold aliened assigned enfeeoffed released
& confirmed and Doth by these presents bargain and sell alien enfeoff
release and confirm to
the said Jacob Schinie to *** *** assigns all that tract or parcel of
land being part of a larg** tract situate in North Sewickley Township
in Beaver County **** D**** which was patented by the Commonwealth of
Penn to the said Benj n Chew by the patent dated 24th of January 1805
enrolled in
patent book **5* Page 23 of which same hereby bargained & sold lot
or parcel of land contained within the following metes & bounds. To
Wit - Beginning at a white Oak the southwest corner of the said original
or larger tract, thence running with the southern most outer line of the
said original or larger tract
east one hundred and four perches to a post on the said line - Thence
partly by land of George Hertzel and partly by land of the said Benjaman
Chew part of the said original or larger tract - north one hundred and
forty perches to a post thence by land of the said Benj n Chew part of
the said original
or larger tract. West one hundred and four perches to a post on the Western
most outer line of the original or larger tract, thence with last mentioned
line by land of the said Benj n Chew South one hundred and fourty perches
to the place of Beginning. Containing and laid out for ninty one acres
of land strict measure. Together with all Singular the buildings wood
ways water courses hereaitaments and appurtenances thereto belonging or
in any wise appertaining and all and every the reversions remainders rents
issues and profits thereof and all the estate right title interest property
claims and demand of him the said Benj n Chew of in to or out of the same
and every part or parcel of the said lot of ninty one acres of land. To
have & To hold the said described lot and premises with all and every
their appurtenances to the said Jacob Schenie his heirs and assigns forever.
And the said Benj n Chew Doth by these presents for himself his heirs
executors
and administrators covenant and agree to and with the said Jacob Schenie
his heirs and assigns that the said Benj n Chew and his heirs the above
described lot of ninty one acres of land from him the said Benj n Chew
his heirs and from all persons claiming or to claims by from or under
him them or any of them to the said Jacob Schenie his and assigns shall
and will warrant and for ever defend. In witness whereof the parties to
this Indenture have thereunto set their hands and seals the day and year
first above written.

Before me one of the Justices of the Peace in and for said
Butler County - personally appeared Benjamin Chew the younger who acknowledged
the above written Indenture to be the act and deed of Benjamin Chew Esqr
in virtue of Powers of Attorney to him granted and directed that the same
should be recorded as such. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my
hand and seal this 14th day of Oct AD 1837
