Deed of Conveyance Jb. Shaney wife To. F. Dietrich Entered 24th Feb 1849
This Indenture made the fifteenth day of January in the year of our Lord, one
thousand eight hundred and forty-nine. Between Jacob Shaney of North Sewickley
Township in County of Beaver State of Pennsylvania, and Sarah his wife, of the
one part, and Frederic Dietrich of the Township aforesaid, Farmer of the other
part.
Witnesseth. That the said Jacob Shaney and Sarah his wife, for and in
consideration of the sum of Two hundred and Twenty Dollars lawful money of the
United States of America, unto them well and truly paid by the said Frederic
Dietrich at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained, sold, aliened,
enfeeoffed, released, and confirmed, and by these presents doth grant, bargain,
sell alien, enfeeoff release and confirm unto the said Frederic Dietrich and to
his heirs and assigns. All that piece or lot of ground, being part of a larger
Tract situate in North Sewickley Township, in the county of Beaver Pa. Called
Dolgetty(?), which was granted by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to Benjamin
Chew by patent dated January 24th 1805, enrolled in Patent Book No. 50 page 237
and sold bargained to Jacob Shaney by deed dated October 13th 1837 and enrolled
in Book P page 513 by Benjamin Chew the younger, his attorney in fact, duly
constituted by letter of Attorney bearing the date May 27th 1820 and recorded
in Deed Book F. page 82, which piece or lot of lands containing ninety one
acres strict measure and only a part thereof twenty acres or thereabouts strict
measure bargained and sold to the said Frederic Dietrich for the afore sum of
money in the hand paid which said piece or parcel of land containing twenty
acres or thereabouts is situate on the West side of and adjoining the land of
C.J. Taylor being seventy one acres the other part of the ninety one acres as
bought by the said Jacob Shaney of the said B. Chew and contained within the
following meter and boundary. Beginning at the North West corner of the C.J.
Taylor land and running West 22 32/100 perches to a post, the corner of the
original ninety one acres thence in a line running south 139 60/100 perches to
a tree, another original corner of the ninety one acres: thence in a line
running East 22 32/100 perches to the corner of said C.S. Taylor's land: thence
in a line joining C.S. Taylor running North 139 60/100 perches to the place of
Beginning. Containing twenty acres or thereabouts bounded on the North by Byers
(?) on the West by Hartzel and others. On the South by Recher on the East by
Taylor.
Together with all and singular in Ways, Waters, Water courses, Rights,
Liberties, Privileges, Hereditaments, and appurtenances, whatsoever thereunto
belonging or in anywise appertaining and the Reversions and Remainders, Rents,
Issues and profits thereof and all the Estate, Right, Title, Interest,
Property, Claim and Demand whatsoever of them the said Jacob Shaney and Sarah
his wife in law, equity, or otherwise howsoever of in and to the same and every
part thereof. To have and to hold the said price and parcel of ground
hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned and intended so to be
with the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said Frederic Dietrich his
Heirs and Assigns, to and for the only proper use and behest of the said
Frederic Dietrich .his Heirs and Assigns forever. And the said Jacob Shaney for
himself his Heirs, Executors and Administrators, do by this presents covenant
grant and agree to and with the said Frederic Dietrich his Heirs and assigns
that by the said Jacob Shaney for himself and his Heirs, all and singular the
Hereditaments and Premises hereunto above described and granted or mentioned
and intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said Frederic Dietrich
his Heirs and Assigns against him the said Jacob Shaney his heirs and against
all and any other person or persons whomsoever, lawfully claiming or to claim
the same or any part thereof shall and will by these presents Warrant and
forever Defend.

interchangeably set their hands and seals the day and year first above written.

Received the day of the date of the above Indenture of the above named
Frederic Dietrich the sum of Five Hundred and Twenty Dollars, lawful money of
the United States, being the consideration money therein mentioned in full.

On the fifteenth day of January Anno Domini 1849 before me the Subscriber,
Justice of the Peace in and for said county came the above named Jacob Shaney
and Sarah his wife, and acknowledged the above Indenture to be their act and
deed and desired that the same might be recorded as such. She, the said Sarah
Shaney being of full age and by me examined separate and apart from her said
husband and the contents of the said Indenture, being first made fully known to
her declared that she did of her own free will and accord sign and seal and her
act and deed deliver the same without any coercion or compulsion of her said
husband.
