Eft Family of Jefferson County, Ohio

Here is a family history page on the first members of the Steubenville Eft family who arrived in this country in the 1850-60 period. This is all I have at the moment and some may be incorrect. But the thing that struck me is the mention by Lois Silver that John Martin IFFT came to this country and changed his name to Eft during naturalization. I don't believe that this will show in any records, other than naturalization records.
