Children of George Phillip and Anna Christina (Klick) Pflug are:
George Jacob , George Heinrich, Philip Heinrich, Georg Frederich, Eva Margaretha, Eva Dorothea, and Georg Frederich.

George Jacob Pflug (1789-1850) was born 1789 in Oberbetschdorf, Bas-Rhin, Alsace, France, and died July 1850 in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. He married sometime before 1808 in Oberbetschdorf, Bas-Rhin, Alsace, France, Eva Dorothea Marzolph who was born 1784 in Oberbetschdorf, Bas-Rhin, Alsace, France, and died 1864 in Beaver County, Pennsylvania.

George Pflug, a cabinet maker and carpenter in his native town of Oberbetschdorf, emigrated to America on March 16,1830 with his entire family. After a voyage of sixty-four days they landed in Baltimore, Md., on June 9,1830. They traveled to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania by means of a six-horse team, arriving on July 4,1830 and George obtained employment in a nail factory.

When he landed in that city he had $100.00 in his pocket but by hard and conscientious work, in September of the year 1830, he was able to buy forty acres of wild land in Marion Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, at a cost of $135.00. In the fall he moved his family onto the property, and built a log house.

The next year, leaving his family at home he went to Phillipsburgh (Now Monaca), Beaver County, Pennsylvania, and worked at boat building for a man named Phillips, continuing in this line of work for three years.

In 1833, he erected a small house at Freedom, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, which was the first home built in that town, and sold his first purchase in Marion Township at a price of $1,100.00. He then bought another property in Marion Township which was all timberland, but by the time his death it was mostly cleared. He lived here for the remainder of his life and at the time of his death in July 1850 owned one hundred and forty acres.

Children of George Jacob and Eva Dorothea (Marzolph) Pflug are:
Barbara, Philip, Eva Dorothea, Magdalena, Margaretha Salome , Jacob, Mary and Frederick.

Margaretha Salome Pflug (1813-1897) daughter of George Jacob and Eva Dorothea (Marzolph) Pflug married in Pennsylvania, July 30, 1833, Jakob Schoene (1813-1886). They resided in Marion Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania and later in Zelienople, Butler County, Pennsylvania.
