"KOBERSTEIN, JACK; died June 30, 1981 in Vancouver, Wash., a resident of Orick, age 66. He was the husband of Margaret Koberstein of Orick. He was the father of Jack Koberstein, Jr., Vancouver, Wash., Laura Koberstein and Barbara Kern, both of Portland, Ore. He is also survivied by numerous other relatives. Mr. Koberstein had lived in Orick since 1950. Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 1, 1981 in Portland, Ore."

Faye (Koberstein) Dulgar died in Sacramento, California on Sunday, August 17.
She was born to Frank William and Clara (Foy) Koberstein in Hastings, Nebraska on December 16, 1917.
She moved to Holyoke in the spring of 1918 and graduated from Phillips County High School in 1936. She relocated to Sacramento in 1946 after marrying William Arthur Dulgar in Denver.
Faye was preceded in death by her husband, William Arthur, her only child, James William and her brother Ray W. "Swede" Koberstein.
She is survived by brothers Floyd Koberstein and his wife Mary of Spokane, Washington; Roy Koberstein and his wife Pauline of Holyoke; Frank Koberstein and his wife Vernell of Pullman, Washington; sisters Winona Rouze and Emily Haynes and her husband Delbert of Holyoke; sister-in-law Berdine Koberstein of Holyoke; daughter-in-law Dylan Dulgar of Gig Harbor, Washington; and one niece and 11 nephews.
Funeral services will be private. Interment will be at Mt. Vernon in Fair Oaks, California.

VERNON, RICHARD PAUL Major, US Army, Ret., last remaining child of Royal Earl Vernon and Louise Koberstein Vernon (? or ?) of Portage, Columbia County Wisc., passed away on October 18, 2001, after a long illness. Richard "Dick" was born April 14, 1923. He enlisted in the US Regular Army on 24 January 1940. His assignment was in the Coast Artillery at Fort Stevens, Ore. He served in Hawaii, Japan, England and on major bases across the USA. He retired from the Army in the grade of Major on 30 September 1960. He then entered the life insurance business in El Paso, Texas, and subsequently, was transferred to the Home Office of Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company, Independence Square, Philadelphia, Pa. He retired from Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company on May 31, 1980, and took up residence in Vista, Calif. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Valerie Diana Vernon, four children (all from his first marriage), seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. His funeral mass will be held at Saint Francis Catholic Church 525 West Vista Way, Vista, Calif. 1:00 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, 2001. He has requested donations to Leukemia Society of America in lieu of flowers.

Dorothy June Koberstein, 82, of Visalia died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Robert "Bob" Koberstein of Visalia; son, William Robert Koberstein and wife, Carol of Milwaukee, WI.; and daughter, Barbara Koberstein-Davis and husband, Vince of Visalia, CA.
Burial will be private. Arrangements are by Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel, Visalia.
