(i. e., Martha Patsey Whitehead) of Nash County to Reuben Taylor of same, October 12, 1785 for 100 pds. a tract of 220 acres on Beach Run adjoining Thompson and Jenkins. Part of the said land was conveyed by William Whithead to Jacob Whitehead by deed dated June 6, 1750, part was was conveyed by Jacob Whitehead to William Whitehead by deed dated May 5, 1761, and part was granted to John Jenkins on May 1, 1762. Witness: Elisha Pope and Jeremiah Burge."

Will recorded January 12 1864 in Greene Co., GA. Rebecca died after the date of writing of husband's will dated June 25, 1862.

Cattle were at the plantations of Jacob Whitehead and Arthur Whitehead, August Court 1750. Account of sale by John Bradford, Deputy Sheriff, October 3, 1751.
