5. John Richard LAMBERT was born on 19 Nov 1880 in DuBois, Washington, Illinois. The place of birth is according to a certificate John Richard had made while an adult. The facts were verified by his daughter, who, of course, could not have been present at the time. Therefore, I'm still searching for proof his parents lived in Washington Co., IL, at the time of his birth. He died in Nov 1961 in Hutchinson, Independence, Arkansas. He died on 14 Jan 1962 in Arkansas.(6)

He was married to Mary Lois PRATT on 23 Dec 1900 in Pocahontas, Randolph, Arkansas.(7) Page 378, Marriage book 12

John Lambeth of Pocahontas aged 22 and Miss Lois Pratt of Pocahontas aged 17 were married on 22 December 1900 by Geo. Campbell JP.

Security was Sam A. Standeford. Mary Lois PRATT was born about 1883. She was born in Mar 1883/84. She died UNKNOWN. John Richard LAMBERT and Mary Lois PRATT had the following children:

child18 i. "Little Buddy" LAMBERT(8) was born in 1901 in Pocahontas, Randolph, Arkansas, probably. He died in 1901 in Pocahontas, Randolph, Arkansas, probably. My dad, Elby Lambert, remembers hearing about "Little Buddy", perhaps named after Samuel David "Bud" Lambert. Little Buddy was born with amazingly long hair for a baby.

John F. James was security. Pearl May LEONARD was born about 1890. She died in 1921 in Randolph Co., Arkansas. Birth estimated from record of now-gone tombstone.

He was married to Walsie Owen BIGELOW on 21 Oct 1933 in Jackson Co., Arkansas.(10) Walsie Owen BIGELOW was born on 15 Apr 1892 in Boone County, Arkansas.(11) She died on 28 May 1983 in Akron, Ohio.(11) Mrs. Walsie Owen Biglow Lambert, 91, of Akron, Ohio, formerly of McHue, died Saturday in an Akron hospital. Born in Boone County, she was a homemaker & a member of the Brown Street Congregation Church of Christ in Akron.
She is survived by a son, Gus Lambert of Akron, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; & 1 great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Hutchinson Mountain Church of Christ with Floyd Denton officiating. Burial will be in the Palestine (Hutchinson) Cemetery with arrangements by the Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
