Philemon's Mother is a Cooper & although Philemon came over as an indentured servant of Benj. Cooper it is assumed Benjamin & Barbara Cooper were siblings & Philemon a nephew of Benjamin.

Wesley Baker Desc. of Philemon dickerson, has Peter dickerson bapt 9 July 1648, 1st Church of Salem Ma. D. 15 Mar 1721

Children abt same as Mormons, order a little different. Wallace W Poole notes the change in the birth dates from 1670 to 1682 puts her age at fifteen for 1st child if born in 1667. If she was born in 1648, per Chambers, she would be 52 years for her last child.

It is assumed he lived and spent his entire life in Roxbury, Morris Co., NJ. He is also alledged to have served as a Private in the Revolutionary war, in the eastern Battalion of the Morris Co. Militia. Possiably under his cousin Cap't. Thomas dickerson. His "Roxbury will" May 16 - June 13, 1797 names wife Tabitha & only son Nathaniel.

Apparently his property was divided in 1828 in Roxbury and names Jeremiah Pool Dickerson, son, Peter G., son, & Elis reger, son in law marr. to Eliza., also three bro's in law; John L Pool of Mendham, Henry Pool & Wm C. Pool of Randolph, Joanna, Abraham, Benjamin, Ezra & Martha, Mar. in Mendham Twsp. Nov. 15, 1797 by Rev. Wm. Woodhull.

Abraham Married three times and had 1 child with 1st wife and 1 with 3rd wife. In 1850 census was in Bradford, Steuben Co., NY age 39, wife Rachel age 40. 2 children, born NY John 6, Janet 4 mos. supposed to have had a son killed in the civil War.
