She died as an infant.
Phillip was 17 yrs old when he enlisted, March 20, 1862, into the Confederate Army at Selma, Dallas County, Alabama. He became a private in the Company A 44th Alabama Infantry. On April 19, 1863, he was captured at Suffolk, VA. Fortunately, his stay as a prisioner was not a long one. Phillip was released at Fort Monroe, VA on April 21, 1863. After the war was over, Phillip soon married Francis Casey in 1867. According to the 1870 Dallas County Alabama census Phillip was a shinglemaker and Francis was a house keeper. They had a son named Robert who, at the time, was only 2 years old. Another son named William was also born in Alabama In 1875 Phillip, Francis and 2 sons, along with Phillip's brother Curtis supposedly boarded a boat in Alabama and headed to Texas by way of Galveston. Phillip is reported living in Bell County, Texas in 1880. At this time, his family has expanded. The 1880 Bell County, Texas census shows Phillip now as a farmer and fathering more children: William at 9yrs, John at 6yrs, Anna at 4yrs, Charles and Rufus (twins) at 1yr old. Two more children were born in Bell County, they were Mary "Mollie" F. King about 1881 and Sula King born 1885. Between the years of 1885 and 1989, Phillip and his family made their way to Colmesneil, Tyler County, Texas. This is where Francis passed away. Her grave is unmarked in a Colmesneil Cemetary. Phillip married again to Sarah Russell in Nacadoches County, TX. Together they did not have any children. However, she had a son from a prior marriage named Lewis Russell. Phillip raised him when Sarah died. Phillip's third and final marriage was to Martha "Mattie" Permenter in 1893. She too was married previously to a Kilburn and a Harrison. Her sons were Lee Kilburn, Robert and Clay Harrison. The 1900 Nacadoches County, TX census reports three children of Phillip and Mattie: George W., Z.T., and Jeppie. The 1910 San Augustine County, TX census includes the remainder of Phillip and Mattie's children: George W. at 15yrs, Zacharia at 13yrs, Jeppie J. at 11yrs, Noah A. at 9 yrs, Daniel W. at 7yrs, Elijah J. at 5yrs, Andrew B. at 2, and their only daughter Arvel L. at 3 months old. Phillip had a farm on the red land clay in San Augustine. By 1920, the Kings moved to Sabine County, Texas. This census shows all of Phillip and Mattie's children except George and Zach, who apparently are now living on their own, and Arvel, who died at 3 1/2 yrs old.spouse: Casey, Francis (~1847 - 1885)
