Here resteth the body of William KAY of Cobhowe who departed this life July 9th 1820 aged 62 years.

Also Betty his wife who died the 19th day of October 1(8)33 in the 74th year of her age.

1783 Novr. 29th William son of Robt. KAY was here buried aged 18 years.

1792 Jan. 27th Betty wife of Robt. KAY was here buried aged 66 years.

Robt. KAY died Decr. 29th 1862(?) aged 76 years.

Samuel KAY died March 12th 1830 aged 66.

Here lies the bodies of Jeremy KAY Senior and Frances his wife both remarkable for their good morales, piety and strict observance of every religious duty. She was inter'd 25th January 1749/50 aged 55 years. He ditto 11th Nov 1767 aged 79.

Also the wife of John WARDLE and daughter of Jeremy KAY who departed this life April 20th 1824 aged 67 years.

Also the above named John WARDLE who departed this life January 18th 1842 aged 90 years.

Sacred to the memory of Matilda youngest daughter of Richard KAY Esq. of Limefield in this Parish and the beloved wife of Major General Sir Thomas Harte FRANKS K.C.B. born July 13th 1809 died November 19 1857, Having followed her husbands fortunes through his military career in India from 1842 to 1856 this heroic woman conscious of approaching death nevertheless urged him to obey the summons of duty and to leave her in England for the war against the revolted army of Hindustan, cheered him to the last by her letters, but was not spared to welcome his return. In grateful remembrance of her noble and tender constancy this record is inscribed by her bereaved husband.
