| This is the STEVENS / KIERNAN Family web page. We are decendants of David STEPHENS and Helen GRAY. David was from South Cerney, Gloucestershire, England. Helen, i'm not sure. They were married in Langholm, Dumfrieshire, Scotland and immigrated from there in 1817 to Virginia. In about 1821, they emigrated to the Mirimichi area of New Brunswick, Canada. In 1834; after Helens death, they immigrated to Ludlow Maine. Decendants of David reside there to this day. Here is also the Kiernan clan. They immigrated from Ireland in c. 1850 and settled on land in Vernon CT. The family still lives on the farm. Also here, are the ancestors of Hannah WATSON, my G-grandmother who was from Woodstock, NB, Can. |
