Rachel Rusk - stayed in Georgia

My sources are the Southwestern Historical Quarterly, Jan.
1931 and Thomas J. Rusk, 1944, R. J. Jaynes.

From other notes I see three of the Rusk kids went to
Habersham Co., GA. Thomas J. married there in 1827 and was a
lawyer in Clarkville. Esther m. there in 1835. Mary M. m. John
Bruce there in 1844 but by 1860 had moved SW to Milton Co.
(merged in Fulton Co. in 1911). Rachel was shown to have
m.ca.1850 in SC.

In the northwest corner of SC are Pickens and Oconee Cos.
and between them is the Keowee river. Touching Pickens Co.
across the Tugaloo river is Habersham Co., GA. The Keowee
