Taylor and O'Neall Families. Holy Bible. Philadelphia, Chicago, St. Louis and Columbus: The National Publishing Company, ca 1873. O'Neall, Albert Ellis, 790 Country Lane, Orlando, Florida 32804. "Entered according to Act of Congress, in the year 187- [maybe a 5], by J. R. Jones." A. E. O'Neall identifies some of the handwriting as being that of his mother. Gold lettering (almost gone) on front reads "TO ANNA FROM HER MOTHER, E. A. TAYLOR." This would be to Anna Chapman Taylor (1860-1930) from her mother, Esther Ann (Brown) Taylor (1798-1873), thereby fixing the date of the Bible's origin as being in the period 1860-1873.
